If your child has graduated pre-K but will turn five after September 1st of the current year, they are eligible for our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program!! Our private TK is a beautiful option for kids in this situation. Private TK at ABC offers some great benefits over a public TK. Our same schedule options are available to our TK program, meaning you can enroll as you see fit for your family. Our 2, 3, or 5-day schedules and half-day programs can be chosen. We also have limited school closures (only ten a year compared to more than double with a public program). We also maintain our standard of low teacher-to-child ratios sticking with 10:1 in the TK classrooms. You can expect to see growth and progress in the TK classrooms as we continue to set your child up to be a successful Kindergartener! Our TK kids learn sight words (2 each month!), math, science concepts, and even begin age-appropriate reading and writing! Of course, they still have their playtime inside and outside! Inside playtime allows the imagination to flow freely, while outside playtime allows for releasing energy and organized team sports.
